Thursday, 18 June 2009 00:00

Kevin Poston, President and CEO of Professional Sports Planning, Inc. has hired Duet Digital Media to take over the day-to-day oversight of the sports agencies interactive and social media content. Poston was a reluctant convert to some of the popular sites like Twiiter and Facebook. According to Duet CEO Tony Mottley, it took some convincing to get the ball rolling, "when we met with Kevin about taking on the project we had to demonstrate how this activity could have a direct impact on his business."

In the first month the results have been excellent as nearly a dozen sportswriters and bloggers are following Poston on Twitter. It's raised the profile of the agency and connected him directly with decision makers and influencers in the industry. As for Kevin Poston, "I don't know how all of this stuff works, I leave that to Tony and his team, but I can see that it's working for me."
