Kevin Poston, President and CEO of Professional Sports Planning, Inc. has hired Duet Digital Media to take over the day-to-day oversight of the sports agencies interactive and social media content. Poston was a reluctant convert to some of the popular sites like Twiiter and Facebook. According to Duet CEO Tony Mottley, it took some convincing to get the ball rolling, "when we met with Kevin about taking on the project we had to demonstrate how this activity could have a direct impact on his business." In the first month the results have been excellent as nearly a dozen sportswriters and bloggers are following Poston on Twitter. It's raised the profile of the agency and connected him directly with decision makers and influencers in the industry. As for Kevin Poston, "I don't know how all of this stuff works, I leave that to Tony and his team, but I can see that it's working for me." |

Workers from six Metro Detroit minority auto suppliers appear in a new web video that details what's at stake for them in the wake of the General Motors and Chrysler bankruptcies. In Michigan, there are more auto workers employed by suppliers than their Big-Three automotive counterparts -- a little known fact. The web video, "Manufacturing Excellence In Action" is told through heartfelt, first-person interviews with workers from The Bing Group, ChemicoMays, Dakkota/Rush Trucking, Genesee Packaging, James Group International and Vitec. The project is a joint venture between Trudy Stokes of Gallant Stokes Productions and Tony Mottley of Duet Digital Media. |

Duet Digital Media CEO Tony Mottley was among 18 community leaders recognized during the first annual Silent Heroes Night Gala held April 25, 2009 at the Detroit Opera House. The honorees, who cut across race, age and gender, were serenaded with musical entertainment ranging from gospel and jazz to R&B and hip-hop. Born out of the idea that the biggest stories are not the ones that are written in mainstream media headlines, but rather the ones that are not being told – found behind the facade of news media, the Silent Heroes Night Awards is a different take on individuals and groups involved at the grassroots level. Tony Mottley was recognized for his role as a television producer and community advocate. |
